我的点评：第一次尝试投稿SSCI，还是中科院二区的季刊。Submission received当天和第二天相继走完Technical check和Editorial assignment环节，并进入With editor状态。官网说Submission to first decision 平均 6 days。但是到第12天才收到rejection letter，编辑说没有决定送外审，因为The Journal of Educational Change does not consider studies in higher education。也就是说，这本杂志不收高等教育领域的文章。

Thank you for your submission to Games and Culture. As there is a high volume of high-quality manuscripts submitted to Games and Culture, we must often turn away papers that might be publishable but which we do not have sufficient space for. We are still a paper-based journal where space is therefore limited. We wish you good luck and hope you will find a suitable home for your paper. We'd recommend presenting the paper at a suitable conference such as the upcoming DIGRA to gain additional peer feedback or try the journals ‘Games and Simulation’ or ‘Journal of Virtual Worlds’.
Thank you again for your submission. I hope that you will consider Games and Culture as an outlet for future research.
