新加坡国立大学（NUS）刘博翔课题组招收优秀博士后（Postdoctoral Research Fellow）。新加坡国立大学世界排名第11，亚洲排名第一（QS world university rankings 2022）。课题组专注于基因组学计算方法的开发，以及基因组学大数据挖掘。
PI简介：刘博翔，博士生导师。2013年于伊利诺伊卫斯理大学获得生物物理学士，2017年于斯坦福大学获得统计学硕士，2019年于斯坦福大学获得生物信息学博士。博士期间获得CEHG fellowship以及Charles B Carrington Memorial Award。2019年入职百度硅谷研究院，担任资深研究员，并于2021年升为主任研究员，负责机器学习+基因组学的研究工作。在研究院期间申请美国专利两项，所在团队入围百度最高奖。2022年加入新加坡国立大学。目前已在Nature，Nature Genetics，Nature Medicine，Genome Biology，American Journal of Human Genetics等期刊以第一作者，通讯作者，或共同作者发表文章40余篇，共被引用6000余次。应邀担任American Journal of Human Genetics, Briefings in Bioinformatics等杂志审稿人，并担任Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence副编辑。

研究方向：
课题组致力于开发了基因组学计算工具，以及基因组学的大数据挖掘。具体方向如下：
1) Single-cell multi-omic quantitative trait loci: We seek to identify cell-type-specific regulation of molecular traits using single-cell multi-omic measurements from multiple tissues (e.g. blood, adipose, kidney, liver). Our group focuses on autoimmune, cardiovascular, and metabolic diseases (e.g. T2D). We have access to several unique multi-ethnic cohorts with sample sizes ranging from hundreds to thousands. Our lab is part of the Asian Immune Diversity Atlas (AIDA), Genotype-Tissue Expression project (GTEx), and Human Cell Atlas (HCA).
2) Genetics of type-2 diabetes (T2D): Individuals of Asian descent have a higher susceptibility to T2D. In particular, Singapore has the highest incidence of T2D among developed countries. We seek to identify the genetic drivers of T2D using a combination of genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic datasets in a multi-ethnic pan-Asian cohort with thousands of participants.
3) Machine learning for spatial transcriptomics: Our group applies Bayesian and deep learning models to cell segmentation and 3D reconstruction of spatial highly sparse transcriptomic datasets. Our group is especially interested in spatial barcoding technology with subcellular resolution and has active collaborations with leading spatial transcriptomic technology providers.
