Job Description：Postdoctoral Fellow – Cancer Biology
Department：Arts and Science Professor Kang’s Lab

Position Summary：

Postdoctoral positions are available in Jungseog Kang’s lab at NYU-Shanghai. We study chromosome segregation in higher eukaryotic cells using cell biological, biochemical, and computational methods. As senior members of the lab, you will be involved in multiple projects regarding spindle assembly checkpoint, microtubule dynamics, epigenetics, and high-throughput imaging analysis involved in tumorigenesis. 

Responsibilities：

Depending on skills, experiences and research projects, responsibilities will include: collect and analyze experimental data, develop testable hypothesis based on data, execute experiments efficiently, write papers and grants, mentor junior members of the lab.

Qualification：

•Required Education Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology or other relevant fields (e.g. biochemistry, genetics, systems biology). •Required Experience

Experience with cytological studies preferred. 

•Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficient in both written and spoken English; •Good interpersonal and communication skills to work in an international and cross-cultural environment; •Excellent problem solving skills, and good time management skills; •High professional integrity, honesty and trust; •Well organized, diplomatic, self-motivated.
