Posting Summary:
Dr. Xingyun Qi lab has multiple positions for postdoc fellows, graduate students, visiting scholars, and technicians at Rutgers University (the State University of New Jersey) - Camden, Department of Biology. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are interested in mechanisms of plant developmental biology and plant stress tolerance.
Successful candidates will use a combination of molecular, genetic, cellular, and biochemical approaches to study the molecular mechanism of how stomatal development is regulated by abiotic stresses. The candidates will participate in the initiation of the different research projects available in the laboratory and are expected to independently conduct their own research projects.
Minimum Education and Experience
Postdoc fellows
- Ph.D. in plant biology, biochemistry, or related fields. Preferably applicants should have obtained their Ph.D. within the last 2 years.
- Experience in plant biology, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry is highly desired, as well as knowledge of basic cell biology and bioinformatics.
