Domestic and onshore international candidates with good research experience in material science, nanotechnology, electrochemistry or energy conversion/storage materials and devices will be preferred.
About this scholarship
Earmarked scholarships are funded by the Australian Government to assist PhD students with their living costs and tuition fees. These scholarships are offered for research projects aligned with recently awarded Category 1 research grants and offer PhD students the opportunity to contribute to large projects of national significance with and work with leading researchers.

一. 导师简介
罗彬 (Dr Bin Luo), 昆士兰大学(UQ)澳大利亚生物工程与纳米科技研究所(AIBN)澳洲基金委未来学者(ARC Future Fellow)及Advanced Battery Materials & Technology Group课题组长。自2014年加入UQ,先后获得UQ Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (2015-2018),ARC DECRA Fellowship (2018-2021),和 ARC Future Fellowship (2021-2025)等项目资助。主要从事功能纳米材料的可控制备及其在储能领域的应用,致力于下一代储能材料与技术的开发与应用,包括多价离子电池、金属-硫电池、液流电池、固态微纳电池、太阳能充电电池等。迄今已在Adv Mater, Angew Chem, Adv Energy Mater, Energy Environ Sci等国际期刊发表学术论文100余篇,学术论文总引用次数达1万余次,H因子51,已授权国家发明专利13项。曾获得中国科学院优秀博士学位论文奖,中国科学院院长优秀奖,北京市科学技术奖,昆士兰大学研究优秀奖,澳大利亚基金委青年学者和未来学者等多个荣誉奖项。承担或参与了澳大利亚基金委、澳洲同步辐射中心以及昆士兰大学等竞争性研究项目十余项。

二.课题组条件和学校平台
Dr Bin Luo课题组科研氛围融洽,科研经费充足,组内拥有完备的电化学测试与表征设备,能够利用各种原位和非原位手段对储能材料和电池电化学机理的深入研究。
昆士兰大学(QS全球排名50,US News排名36),是澳大利亚“八大名校联盟”之一。UQ不仅具有悠久浓郁的学术氛围,而且位于澳大利亚布里斯班,气候宜人,风景秀丽,被认为是南半球最美丽的校园。
三.基本要求:
1)已有或即将拥有全日制硕士或学士学位。
2)有较高的GPA以及较强的电化学/材料/化学等相关科研背景,以第一作者发表高水平论文者优先。
3)具有较强自主性、科研创新能力和团队合作意识,有良好的英文沟通和写作能力
3)语言要求:雅思总分不低于6.5,单项不低于6 (或相应托福成绩:总分87,21 in written, 19 in reading, listening & speaking)。

博士生待遇:生活费每年AUD$32192(3.5年)+ 4年学费全免 + 学生医疗保险
