宋美娴，现任大连海事大学副教授，兴海教授。研究领域包括海商法，保险法和英国合同法。本科毕业于大连海事大学海商法专业，硕士（LLM）毕业于伦敦大学学院（University College London）, 在英国南安普顿大学（University of Southampton）获博士学位。2013年9月至2022年4月先后任职于英国埃克塞特大学（University of Exeter）和英国南安普顿大学法学院。2017年1月成为英国高等教育学会会士（Fellow of Higher Education Academy）。具有中国律师执业资格。
