Dr. Huiliang Zhang lab has multiple positions for postdoc fellows, graduate students, visiting scholars and technicians at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS).
The focus of Dr. Zhang’s research is to seek the mechanisms and treatment of cardiac and neron aging. We are looking for highly motivated researchers with experience in any of the following areas: Molecular Biology, Cell Biology and Physiology. Experience in one of the following specialized techniques is beneficial: CRISPR, stem cell biology, vector construction, mitochondrial biology, Ca2+ signaling, multi-omics (proteomics, metabolomics, genomics), cardiac disease model, confocal imaging, imaging processing.
The postdoc salary and benefits follow the NIH guidelines. The visiting scholars and technician’s salary and benefits follow the government guidelines. We will cover the graduate student tuition and additional stipends.
