Clinical and Translational Imaging – Reviews in Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging
is the official journal of the Italian Association of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. It publishes invited and freely submitted review papers from all over the world in the field of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.
The journal publishes thematic series. From 2013-2015 each issue was dedicated to one thematic series. From 2016 onwards each issue contains a mix of thematic series. Topical collections are available on SpringerLink at the link below.Besides invited reviews the journal also considers unsolicited submissions not related to a thematic series.

Language
Manuscripts that are accepted for publication will be checked by our copyeditors for spelling and formal style. If English is not your native language, this copyediting may not be sufficient. To avoid the need for substantial editing, you may want to have your manuscript edited by a native speaker prior to submission. The use of clear and concise language will help editors and reviewers concentrate on the scientific content of your paper and thus expedite the peer review process.
Authorship
Authorship should meet international publishing standards. The International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recommends that authorship should be based on substantial contribution to:
(a) Conception and design of the article, or acquisition, analysis and interpretation of data;
(b) Drafting of the article or critical revision for important intellectual content; and
(c) Final approval of the version to be published.
Conditions (a), (b), and (c) must all be met by each author. Each author must also be prepared to take public responsibility for the article.
The order of authors should be the joint decision of all the authors.
Each manuscript should contain a statement about the authors' contribution to the Manuscript.
This should be placed before the reference list at the end of the manuscript.
List each author by surname (family name) and describe each of their contributions (select all that apply) to the manuscript using the following terms. Inclusion of people that have given non substantial contribution (honorary authorship) and exclusion of authors that have given substantial contribution is considered as an act of scientific misconduct.
