cScience is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing high-quality articles at the frontier of "dual carbon" sustainability worldwide, involving carbon neutrality, green low-carbon, intelligent resources, clean energy, carbon catalysis, and sustainable development.
cScience, presently, aims to become a top international scientific publication in the field of "dual-carbon" (carbon peak and carbon neutrality) sustainability, in the interdisciplinary fields of materials, resources, chemistry, energy, environment, etc., creating a high-end platform for academic exchange.
cScience considers full-length articles, letters, review articles, perspectives, and highlights. Specific c-related hot topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

cScience（《碳科学（英文）》，ISSN: 3067-6630）由中华人民共和国教育部主管，北京科技大学主办，有科期刊出版（北京）有限公司出版的一本开放获取、同行评议的期刊，主编为中国工程院院士、北京科技大学碳中和研究院院长毛新平，共同主编为英国皇家工程院院士、中国工程院外籍院士John Loughhead，期刊聚焦“双碳”可持续发展的研究，涵盖绿色低碳、智能资源、清洁能源、碳催化以及材料、资源、化学、能源、环境等跨学科领域，发表全球碳中和科学、清洁能源、可持续发展和环境等跨学科领域的高质量科研成果。

cScience offers Free Format submission for a simplified and streamlined submission process.
Free Format submission means authors can format their manuscript and references in the style or format they would prefer. Wiley will update the formatting into the journal style if the manuscript is accepted for publication. Review Wiley’s page on Free Format submission to learn more about how it works.
While there are no requirements for the formatting you choose, we still ask authors to use a consistent format throughout the manuscript and include all information necessary for conducting peer review. Information such as ORCID IDs and co-author details are necessary for conducting timely and ethical peer review. In keeping with the latest guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, each author’s contribution to the paper is to be quantified.

Peer Review Model
We follow a single-anonymized peer review model, for applicable article types.
Except where otherwise stated, manuscripts are peer reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers and an Associate or Assistant Editor.
Papers authored by Editors or Editorial Board members of the title, will be sent to Editors unaffiliated with the author or institution and monitored carefully to ensure there is no peer review bias.
cScience has adopted the ANSI/NISO Standard Terminology for Peer Review. Standardizing the terminology across journals and publishers used to describe peer review practices makes the peer review process for articles and journals more transparent and enables the community to better assess and compare peer review practices between different journals.
