Food BioengineeringISSN 2770-2081)是一本国际同行评议、开放获取的期刊,由华东理工大学生物反应器工程国家重点实验室主办,由国际著名出版商Wiley出版发行。

Food Bioengineering 将涉及食品领域的合成生物技术、细胞工程、生物催化与转化工程、发酵过程优化及智能控制、先进分离提取与纯化技术、生物基包装材料、食品生物工程产品开发、生物安全及检测技术等多个重要方向,旨在打造食品生物工程特色学科旗舰期刊,为深耕于食品科学、生物工程、营养医学、食品化学工程等交叉学科的科研工作者搭建一个高水平的学术交流平台,推动创新技术和下一代食品成分的前沿研究,以促进食品行业健康、可持续地发展。

报道范围

Food Bioengineering 收录原创性的研究性论文、短篇通讯、综述论文和社论,报道内容包括但不限于:

1. 食品的生物合成和代谢工程:用于功能性食品和营养物质(如植物生物活性物质、功能性脂类、低聚糖和多肽)生产的底盘微生物构建及其通路改造;用于食品发酵的新型菌种的开发;

2. 食品酶学:通过理性设计和定向进化来改进酶在食品生产过程中的性能;酶的固定化;

3. 食品生物过程工程:使用多组学分析监测生物过程;微生物群落行为与发酵食品品质的预测和优化;活性食品成分的智能分离和纯化过程;

4. 用于食品包装的生物材料:新型聚合物和纳米复合材料等创新包装材料设计和开发,以提高食品的安全性、质量,延长货架期;

5. 功能性食品的健康功效:食品生物活性物质的生物利用度、功效和安全性探究;食品成分对生理及肠道微生物群的调节机制解析;

6. 未来食品:人造肉、藻类制品等新型食品的设计与生产;

7. 用于食品分析的生物传感器:用于生物过程控制、食品成分分析、食品安全监测的生物传感器的开发;

8. 食品化学工程:食品发酵、加工、保鲜、包装等过程中的传热、动量传递、传质和反应动力学的现象解析和机制探究。

编委团队

Food Bioengineering 组建了一支高水平的国际化编委团队,汇聚了全球食品科学与生物工程交叉领域近40余名知名专家,其中包含中国工程院院士、国际食品科学院院士、美国医学与生物工程院院士、国际欧亚科学院院士,以及Trends in Food Science & TechnologySynthetic and Systems BiotechnologyFood Bioscience等食品和生物工程领域著名SCI期刊主编。

Food Bioengineering 的创刊主编为华东理工大学生物工程学院赵黎明教授,咨询委员会主席由江南大学陈坚院士担任。编委成员来自中国、美国、荷兰、英国、西班牙、加拿大、韩国、日本、新加坡等10个国家,涵盖清华大学、中国科学院大学、江南大学、中国农业大学、华南理工大学、山东大学、荷兰瓦赫宁根大学、美国加州大学戴维斯分校、美国康奈尔大学、英国帝国理工学院、加拿大圭尔夫大学、新加坡国立大学、日本东京海洋大学等国内外高等学府和科研机构。

开放获取

Food Bioengineering将提供严格高效的同行评议、国际投审稿系统ScholarOne、金色OA、免费出版及全球快速传播等出版服务。

开放获取(Open AccessOA)将使本刊的所有内容在发布后均可免费阅读、下载和共享。20241231日前的所有论文均是免费出版的。

开放获取的优势在于:

INTRODUCTION

Types of papers

Contributions falling into the following categories will be considered for publication: Research Article, Short Communication, Review Article, and Editorial.

Research Article for Food Bioengineering should be written in English and normally not exceed 8000 words (excluding abstract, references and no more than 8 tables and illustrations).

Short Communication describing work that may be of a preliminary nature but which merits immediate publication. These articles will not normally exceed 3500 words (excluding abstract, references and no more than 5 tables and illustrations).

Review Article will be accepted in areas of topical interest, will normally focus on literature published over the previous five years, and should not exceed 10,000 words. (excluding abstract, references and no more than 8 tables and illustrations)

Editorial refers to the type of articles conveying an opinion, or overview of an issue, by the Editor or someone invited by the editor to Food Bioengineering.

Submission checklist

You can use this list to carry out a final check of your submission before you send it to the journal for review. Please check the relevant section in this Guide for Authors for more details.

Ensure that the following items are present:

Manuscript has been 'spell checked' and 'grammar checked'

All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa

A competing interests statement is provided, even if the authors have no competing interests to declare

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Guidelines on Publishing and Research Ethics in Journal Articles

The journal requires that you include in the manuscript details IRB approvals, ethical treatment of human and animal research participants, and gathering of informed consent, as appropriate.
