Submission
Preparing a Manuscript
All manuscripts must be submitted in an electronic format, e.g., PDF format (preferred) or MS Word. Manuscripts should follow the formatting of the sample manuscript and references.

Type of Manuscript
Research papers: Full-length manuscripts should present an innovative idea in a complete way, as befits an archival journal, and should include the following: a clear definition of the problem addressed, the goals, the literature background, the proposed solution, theoretical proofs if applicable, the experimental results, a discussion and comparisons with the literature and/or current practices.
Survey papers: Manuscripts should present a comprehensive survey of a field or an introductory tutorial on a specific fundamental area or an advanced topic.
Length of Manuscript
Research papers: Manuscripts is allowed up to 13 pages as the basic APC. (including text, figures, and tables, as well as references); Only a maximum of 3 pages can be added if the author pays an additional fee.
Survey paper: Manuscript must be submitted in fast track, only, and should consist of at least 17 pages. (including text, figures, and tables, as well as references); Only a maximum of 5 pages can be added if the author pays an additional fee.

References should be included only to guide readers to more information on the manuscript's topic; the reference list need not include every available source. For research papers, no more than twenty archival references complete with the publication name, year, volume, issue, and page numbers are allowed. References must be numbered sequentially, not listed alphabetically. All references to online sources (website URLs, web-posted papers) are required to show the "Accessed on" date. and at least 50% of the references should be papers published within the last three years in areas related to the topic of the manuscript.
Manuscripts may be rejected for the following reasons:
Manuscripts that lack a proper structure
Manuscripts that lack the details necessary for the reader’s full understanding of the authors' analysis
Manuscripts that present no new science
Manuscripts that do not clearly explain which parts of the findings are new science, versus what is already known
Manuscripts that lack up-to-date references
Manuscripts that present theories, concepts, or conclusions that are not fully supported by its data, arguments, and information
Manuscripts that do not provide sufficient details about the materials and methods to allow other scientists to repeat the experiment
Manuscripts that lack clear descriptions or explanations of the following
The hypothesis to be tested
The experimental design
Sample characteristics and descriptive statistics
Poor descriptions of the experimental design, or erroneous or insufficient statistical analysis
Poor quality of the language used in the manuscript
Papers that have been published or submitted to other journals or books will not be considered for publication in the HCIS. Revised or extended versions of papers printed for conference, workshop, or symposium proceedings may be submitted to this Journal with an appropriate cover letter (you may write the cover letter in the web-based manuscript submission system).
