INTRODUCTION
Veterinary Vaccine是河南农业大学动物医学院创办的具有鲜明特色的综合性开放获取期刊。期刊立足于动物和人类健康,以促进基础研究和应用开发为目标,全面贯彻“全健康”理念,为重大动物疫病防控、人类生命健康和公共卫生安全研究提供专业的学术交流平台。Veterinary Vaccine由张改平院士、美国堪萨斯州立大学Waithaka Mwangi教授与美国杜兰大学Shitao Li教授担任主编,与国际著名出版集团ELSEVIER合作出版。汇聚18名来自中国、美国、英国、奥地利等国家的知名专家学者组成编委会。在主编团队、科学编辑和编委专家们的共同努力下,Veterinary Vaccine于2022年1月开通官方网站和投审稿系统。
兽用疫苗不仅关系动物健康,对人类健康和环境安全也至关重要。2021年,全球兽用疫苗市场规模超过100亿美元,预计未来5年将有约60%的显著增长。因此,无论从理论还是技术发展上,都必须继续加大对兽用疫苗研究的重视。Veterinary Vaccine为家畜、家禽、野生动物和水生动物疫苗领域的专家学者和科研人员提供发表最新科研成果、综述和案例报告等内容的专业平台。
河南农业大学兽医学学科历史悠久,积淀深厚。河南农业大学在动物疾病领域具有强大的学术优势和广泛的国际合作。学科聚焦畜禽重大传染病和人兽共患病等流行病学、发病机理、检测诊断和免疫防控等基础理论和应用研究,在重大动物疫病诊断、新型高效疫苗研发和产业创新等方面形成综合性优势,为有效保障我国生物安全和动物疫病防控作出了突出贡献。我们诚挚邀请兽用疫苗领域的同仁积极投稿,利用Veterinary Vaccine平台与我校开展广泛交流合作,为动物健康和公共卫生事业做出贡献。

Aims and scope
Veterinary Vaccine is an open access, peer reviewed journal that publishes papers on all aspects of vaccinology research conducted on a wide range of domestic, wildlife and aquatic animals. Our aim is to encourage scientists in all relevant disciplines to publish their original research articles, reviews, case reports, communications and policies in the journal. Subjects in related areas of host immunology mechanisms, immunopathogenesis, immune responses to vaccines, vaccine development and efficacy evaluation, vaccine vectors, adjuvants and immunomodulators, vaccine safety and policies all fall into the scope of the journal.
The unique feature of the journal is to publish research topics on veterinary parasite/bacterial/viral/fungal vaccines, zoonotic disease vaccines, veterinary vaccine technology and operational research. Manuscripts regarding original research results and basic and field research reviews will be particularly welcomed. Papers outside the above research topics are also welcome and please do not hesitated to contact us for specific questions. For detailed information on the submission categories, authors are encouraged to refer to the Guide for Authors before submission.
