“Studies in Chinese Religions”（《中国宗教研究》季刊）是中国社会科学院世界宗教研究所和泰勒-弗朗西斯出版集团（Taylor & Francis Group）在2015年联合创办的英文国际期刊。本刊致力于中国宗教研究，涵盖佛教研究、基督宗教研究、伊斯兰教研究、儒教研究、道教研究、民间宗教研究、少数民族宗教研究等内容，鼓励跨学科研究，旨在建立一个中国宗教研究的国际化学术交流平台。

2015年11月17日，英文季刊《中国宗教研究》创刊号发布会在京举行。英文学术季刊《中国宗教研究》由中国社会科学院世界宗教研究所与英国Taylor&Francis Group共同创办，是中国社会科学院外文学术期刊资助计划的重要成果之一。中国社会科学院副院长李培林，国际合作局局长王镭，中国社会科学评价中心主任荆林波，世界宗教研究所所长、英文季刊《中国宗教研究》主编卓新平，科研局副局长张国春，英国出版公司Taylor&Francis Group代表丁海珈，《中国宗教研究》执行主编李建欣出席发布会并致辞。发布会由国社会科学院世界宗教研究所所党委书记曹中建主持。上海师范大学方广锠教授，北京大学姚卫群、陈明教授，中国人民大学张风雷教授，清华大学圣凯教授以及世界宗教研究所邱永辉、唐晓峰、纪华传、赵法生等学者，还有所内外相关学者、媒体人士约50人参加发布会。
英文季刊《中国宗教研究》是目前全球屈指可数的以中国宗教研究为对象的学术期刊，在我国则为首创。该刊的创办必将有力推动中国宗教研究，在相当程度上提高我国学者在中国宗教研究领域的话语权，从更广泛的意义上，该刊的创办对于展示中华文化的独特魅力、对于増强国家软实力都会有所贡献

Studies in Chinese Religions is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research. Please see the journal's Aims & Scope for information about its focus and peer-review policy.
Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English.
Studies in Chinese Religions accepts the following types of article: original articles.
Open Access

Structure
Your paper should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; figure captions (as a list).
Word Limits
Please include a word count for your paper.
A typical paper for this journal should be no more than 50 pages, inclusive of the abstract, tables, references, figure captions, footnotes, endnotes.
Style Guidelines
Please refer to these quick style guidelines when preparing your paper, rather than any published articles or a sample copy.
Any spelling style is acceptable so long as it is consistent within the manuscript.
Please use single quotation marks, except where ‘a quotation is “within” a quotation’. Please note that long quotations should be indented without quotation marks.

Papers may be submitted in Word or LaTeX formats. Figures should be saved separately from the text. To assist you in preparing your paper, we provide formatting template(s).
