Submission Guidelines
Submission
Manuscripts are accepted for review with the understanding that the same paper has not been published and is not being considered for publication by other journals. All submissions to IJB are handled electronically. Manuscripts must be submitted online via Editorial Manager (EM), a fully web-based submission, peer-review, and tracking system. Upon submission authors should specify to which section the paper belongs.
New Authors: If you are submitting via this new system for the first time, you will first be required to register. From the account you create, you will be able to monitor your submission and make subsequent submissions. Once a paper is accepted for publication, the author is assumed to have transferred the copyright to World Scientific. The first author of each accepted paper will receive the pdf file of the article.
Types of Articles
IJB accepts research papers as well as extended survey articles that provide a thorough presentation of recent results in the field. There is no a priori limitation on the length of submitted manuscripts, and even long papers may be published.
Preparation of Manuscript
The manuscript must be prepared with double-spacing and ample margins all around the text. Only one side of the paper should be used. For electronic submission, all figures, tables, etc. must be included in the postscript files of the articles.
Abstracts should be less than 200 words long. Sections should be numbered with arabic numerals. Each page of the manuscript should be numbered. Footnotes should be indicated in the text with superscript letters: a, b, c, etc.
Figures should be numbered in arabic numerals in the order of appearance in the text. Likewise, tables should be numbered in arabic numerals in the order of appearance. Every figure and table must have a caption.
References should be listed in alphabetical order of the author's name and cited in the text in arabic numerals within square brackets, e.g. [1], [4, 5] or [7, 9–11]. References should be typed at the end of the manuscript. For journal references, the standard abbreviations for journal names should be used. The format for the list of references is as follows:
M. Artin, On Azumaya algebras and finite representations of rings, J. Algebra 11 (1969) 532-563.
C. Gundlach, Critical Phenomena in Gravitational Collapse, Living Rev. Relativity 2 (1999), 4. [Online article]: cited on 31 January 2001, http://www.livingreviews.org/lrr-1999-4.
