学术英语写中作副词的位置

英语写作中，副词在的位置用法比较复杂，取决于写作形式（正式与非正式）、副词的长度、意义和在句子中的作用各种因素。

在学术英语写作中，副词所修饰的对象主要是形容词和动词或者整个句子，它与被修饰的对象之间的位置关系主要有以下几种：

当被修饰的主要动词为一个单词时，将副词放在访动词前。

但动词“be”除外，副词常位于”be”动词后面。

It was particularly clear that the solutions…

副词一般位于第一个助动词后。

… It could also have been applied to other aspects of the motor.

但是一些表示完整性和方式性的副词位于所有助动词后。

The waves could be completely used without any loss as exhaust.

The system could be successfully used to interrogate…

由短语或从句构成的副词，一般放在句首或者句末。

连接副词，比如：however, therefore, by contrast等，放在句首，以表明与前一个句子之间的关系，这样的用法会使得两个句子之间的关系非常清晰明了。

必须指出，这些规则并不是那么严格（语法永远都不是很严谨），只是学术英语写作中较为普遍的用法。
