我们的文章投稿给了sci期刊后，肯定都想尽早发布，所以会经常关注期刊审稿的进程，也会碰到论文状态持续很久都不更新的情况，那此时怎么办呢？能写邮件给编辑催一下进度吗？
首先需要说清楚的是，如果稿件状态一直不更新，自己又很急的话，是可以催的，但要注意分寸，要在适当的时间写信咨询、提醒期刊编辑，而且，我们也不能频繁地催稿，不然适得其反，那什么时候催合适呢？新手又该怎么写催稿邮件呢？
什么时候写催稿邮件更合适呢？
什么时候可以催，就要看这个SCI期刊通常审稿周期一般是多长了，一般超过了期刊承诺的turnaround time(即某一状态超过了sci期刊承担的既定时间)，就可以礼貌催稿了！可以简单陈述一下情况，说说自己的稿件是什么时候发出的，委婉的追问下为什么现在仍然没有进一步消息，继而咨询一下目前稿件处理是在什么阶段等等~
只是应该注意的是，sci期刊所提供的同行评审周期时间是一个平均值，实际上需要多少时间根据情况不同或有变动，毕竟期刊编辑也在同行评审过程遇到一些困难，像是能否找到合适的人来审稿、审稿人是否有空、评审员是否及时回复、论文需修改程度等等。

再强调一次，催稿要礼貌，不要带有个人情绪到邮件里，毕竟，很多审稿人都是义务审稿的，你的姿态要放低一点会更合适。

总的说来，在投稿之前一定要做好投稿前工作，熟悉杂志的审稿周期等内容，在杂志审稿周期范围内尽量不要选择催稿，如果有特殊情况需要催稿，也一定要注意方式方法，尽量委婉！
