今天也是和审稿人斗智斗勇的一天
如果说科研是一场修炼，那么学术界就是江湖，投稿就是作者与审稿人之间的高手博弈。我们与期刊审稿人过招靠的不仅是实力，还有技巧。那么面对审稿人的问题，我们是要做到“面面俱到”还是“蜻蜓点水”？
很多科研者都会为此犯愁。一方面，希望尽可能详细地回复审稿人意见，因此总是说的啰嗦、重点又不够突出；另一方面，不少科研者认为，言多必失，写得太多的话，无形中会让审稿人觉得问题很严重，还容易说漏嘴被人逮住漏洞，岂不是更冤。于是就写几个关键词，剩下的交给审稿人自己脑补。
笔者根据与几位期刊审稿人的交流后，经过分析认为“蜻蜓点水”肯定不行，当然话太啰嗦也不是很可以。最关键的还是要理解审稿人真正的顾虑在哪里？把话说到位即可。
如何巧妙回复审稿人？
好事多磨，在自己眼中近乎完美的论文，在审稿人的眼中似乎需要小修？甚至是需要大修？那么面对审稿人下的“战书”，我们如何回应审稿人的批判性意见呢？
1.礼貌开头，绝对服从
2.不起争执，掌握分寸
3.细节修改，不容小觑
4.适当拖长返修时间
礼貌开头，绝对服从
先礼后兵，礼貌开头，绝对服从审稿人的意见。不管审稿人是挖苦还是赞美你的工作，都要先虚心接受，要向编辑表示自己会全力配合，努力改进文章。
面对“badly organized, poorly written…”等各种难听难看的字眼，我们都要说“Thank you for your suggestion. I have addressed point 1 by…”（感谢你的提议，你的提议太有用了，我们非常赞同你的建议之类的话），即使有再多不服，也要憋在肚子里，毕竟文章被接收才最重要的！

不起争执，掌握分寸
我们要摆好应对批判性意见的心态，审稿人的意见并不完全正确，自己的文章也一定存在提升空间。所以不要和审稿人起争执，合理掌握修改和论辩的分寸。科学研究最重要的原则就是批判性地看待问题，同行评议有诸多弊端，有时审稿人可能和你只是大同行，并不能完全理解你的文章。
例如
We completely agree with this valuable suggestion by the reviewer. As a matter of fact, we attempted to carry out such an analysis before submitting the original manuscript, but… . As such webandoned the attempt.
这就在原则上肯定了审稿人的意见，说明了为什么作者没有作这个分析，但没有对审稿人的建议进行“是否必要”的评论，既表达清楚了作者的本意，同时又给编辑/审稿人以愉悦的感受。我们尊重审稿人，应对所提意见予以回复。
但实际上，有些问题是改不了的，所以在好改、能改的前提下，我们就按照审稿人的意见进行修改，实在改不了的，也要学会有理有据的进行论辩。

模板3：为什么没有做这个实验
We completely agree with this valuable suggestion by the reviewer. As a matter of fact, we attempted to carry out such an analysis before submitting the original manuscript, but… . As such we bandoned the attempt.
细节修改，不容小觑
细节决定一切，面对审稿人的问题一定要一一作答，有礼有节，尽量满足。例如当审稿人跟你说文中缩写词没有注明全称，这是一个很低级的问题，我们回复的态度一定要诚恳道歉。
如We are very sorry for the mistake. As for the referee’s concern, the full descriptions of the abbreviations like IHC, MTT. etc have been supplemented in the revised manuscript. 回复审稿意见，端正的态度永远是第一位。不管审稿人提出怎样的意见，积极地回复，耐心地解释，才有可能赢得审稿人的青睐。

Thank you very much for discovering this error. We apologize for this grammatical problem and have corrected it based on your suggestions. ln addition, we have asked native English editors to polish and modify the manuscript.
模板2：部分
不清晰
Thank you very much for finding this careless problem. I have redrawn the picture according to the requirements of the journal.

We are very sorry for the mistake, and we have added the following discussion to further explain algorithm…, see page….
适当拖长返修时间
我们拿到审稿意见之后，如果是小改，也不要很快改完就提交，要适当拖延一下时间，建议大家1-2个星期后再返回修改稿；如果是大改，建议大家至少要放一个月的时间再返回，这样显得比较郑重。
在此期间，我们可以从头到尾再审视一遍自己的论文，看看语法、文字方面有没有存在问题，因为一方面有可能提交后又有新的问题回来，另一方面这样会让审稿人觉得我们是严谨、认真的。

最后，返修完之后，不管结果如何，我们都得到了很大的提升。退稿≠研究没有价值，要积极尝试转投其他期刊或调整文章内容。总而言之，我们要正确对待并最大化利用审稿人的审稿意见，让其成为提升我们科研论文质量和未来研究能力的一种助力，而非绊脚石！SCI投稿是一段忐忑的路，希望以上方法可以帮助我们战胜审稿人的“刁难”，赢得这场不见血光的战斗。
