作为一本国际化、高定位的开放获取期刊，Artificial Photosynthesis旨在发表关于理解、模仿和利用光能转化为化学能的过程进展，为来自化学、物理、材料、生物、工程等不同学科的研究人员提供高水平的国际学术交流平台，并促进学界与工业界的发展和合作。期刊将涵盖多种类型文章，包括Article、Communication、Review、Perspective和Comment.
创刊前三年接收的文章免收文章出版费（APC）

Artificial Photosynthesis 的发表范围包括但不限于：
New theories, methods, and strategies for photoelectrochemical energy conversion and storage, and their charge and energy transfer dynamics and mechanisms.
