At GIM we support academic freedom and encourage debate and discussion around issues of interest to our readers and community. We will, not, however, respond to disrespectful communications. We expect that authors or others who communicate with GIM editors and/or staff do so politely and respectfully. We reserve the right, at the sole discretion of GIM, to terminate any communication in which we deem the discussions/discourse have become disrespectful, demeaning, intolerant and/or abusive, and to discontinue the review or publication of any article at any time in instances where authors do not abide by this policy.
