由国际著名学术期刊出版商爱思唯尔Elsevier 出版，《Digital Engineering》英文国际期刊（ISSN：2950-550X）首期于2024年6月正式上线！
《Digital Engineering》是全球首个专注于数字工程的跨学科领域学术期刊，主要发表高质量的原创研究论文、综述、简报和评论，旨在分享各领域关于数字化研究和应用的最新成果。
《Digital Engineering》国际期刊定位为一个跨领域、跨学科、跨层次的数字工程国际综合类期刊。编委会汇聚了数字工程领域的全球知名学者与领域专家，旨在推动该领域的学术研究与技术创新。目前，编委会成员（Editorial Board Members）共有13名，来自7个国家，其中包含多位德国、法国、新加披等国家的科学工程院院士以及各国的高被引学者。北京航空航天大学陶飞教授担任期刊主编（Editor-In-Chief），易黎副教授和魏宇鹏副教授担任处理编辑（Handling Editor）。为了进一步提升刊物的国际声誉和学术水平，编委会将持续邀请更多全球优秀的专家学者加入。

About the journal
Aims and scope
The Digital Engineering journal is an international, transdisciplinary platform dedicated to the advancement of digital engineering in a wide range of sectors. Our scope covers the theoretical, methodological, technological, and practical advances related to digitalization and digital technologies in the engineering domain. We welcome submissions of research and review papers exploring a range of topics in digital engineering, including but not limited to the following areas:
Smart manufacturing, robotics, and machines
Digital transformation in healthcare and biomedicine
Smart cities and urban planning
Digitalization in the economy, society, and governance
Sustainable agriculture and rural development
Innovations in transportation and logistics
Integration of digital technologies in industry and management
Aircraft design, avionics, and flight control technologies
Digitalization in architecture, construction, and civil engineering
Advancements in energy, power systems, and environmental management
Automation, control systems, and AI applications in engineering
Emerging trends and interdisciplinary applications in digital engineering
The Digital Engineering journal aims to serve as an international platform for sharing groundbreaking research results and propelling digital engineering innovations in different research areas. We invite contributions that not only maintain high academic standards but also promise to influence the future at different scales and sectors. We actively encourage papers addressing emerging topics, and we will also consider publishing special issues dedicated to these emerging areas.
Peer review
This journal follows a single anonymized review process. Your submission will initially be assessed by our editors to determine suitability for publication in this journal. If your submission is deemed suitable, it will typically be sent to a minimum of two reviewers to assess the scientific quality. The decision as to whether your article is accepted or rejected will be taken by our editors. Authors who wish to appeal the editorial decision for their manuscript may submit a formal appeal request in accordance with the procedure outlined in Elsevier’s Appeal Policy. Only one appeal per submission will be considered and the appeal decision will be final.

Special issues and article collections
The peer review process for special issues and article collections follows the same process as outlined above for regular submissions, except, a guest editor will send the submissions out to the reviewers and recommend a decision to the journal editor. The journal editor oversees the peer review process of all special issues and article collections to ensure the high standards of publishing ethics and responsiveness are respected and is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles.
