Submission Guidelines
Manuscripts should be submitted via email to any of the Editors whose area of research is closer to the topic of the paper. The list of Editors can be found in our Editorial Board page. Only papers submitted in English will be considered for publication. The submission of a paper implies that the paper is not being considered for publication by other journals. Once a paper is accepted for publication in International Journal of Algebra and Computation, the author is assumed to have transferred the copyright to World Scientific.
Papers must be submitted with full address(es) and e-mail address(es) of the author(s).
Abstracts should not be more than 300 words long.
Each article submitted must be accompanied by Keywords and Mathematics Subject Classification 2010. A list of these numbers may be found in the annual Subject Index of Mathematical Reviews, published in the December issue.
Sections should be numbered with arabic numerals.
Notation should be legible, compact, and conform to current practice. Each symbol must be clear and properly aligned so that superscripts and subscripts are easily distinguishable. Numerical fractions should preferably be put on one line e.g. 1/2 a.
Footnotes should be indicated in the text with superscript letters: a, b, c, etc.
Indicators such as Proposition, Theorem, Proof, Lemma are in boldface, and the statements of theorems, lemmas and corollaries in italics.
References are numbered consecutively in arabic numerals in alphabetical order of the author's name and are cited by the corresponding number in square brackets in the text. For journal references, the standard abbreviations for journal names should be used. They should be listed in a separate sheet at the end of the text material. The general format preferred is indicated below:
Z. Sela, Acylindrical accessibility for groups, Invent. Math. 129(3) (1997) 527-565.
C. J. Earle, Teichmuller theory, in Discrete Groups and Automorphic Functions, ed. W. J. Harvey (Academic Press, 1977), pp. 1-100.
S. L. Ma, Polynomial Addition Sets, Ph. D. Thesis, University of Hongkong (1985).
A. Wilansky, Summability through Functional Analysis (North-Holland, 1984).
Figures should be numbered in arabic numerals in the order of appearance in the text. If the paper contains color figures, the author is encouraged to submit two sets of figures (one set of color figures for online version and one set of gray scale figures for print version). It will be charged if the author wishes to have color figures in the print version.
Tables should be numbered with roman numerals in the order of appearance. Every table must have a caption.
Every submitted paper will be acknowledged and refereed.
To eliminate unnecessary delay or difficulties in printing, authors may be guided by the article 'Manual for authors of mathematical papers', Bull. Amer. Math. Soc. 68 (1962) 429-444.
Detailed instructions for preparation of manuscripts are available in: Latex2e (readme / Download)
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
World Scientific Publishing will only issue an official invoice for the payment of an Article-Processing Charge if you opt for Gold Open Access, and after your paper has been accepted. Before responding to any payment request, we advise you to check on your submission's status at Editorial Manager website, or contact the Editor-in-Chief/Managing Editor, to ensure your submission has officially been "Accepted" for publication. Please disregard any payment request if otherwise. When in doubt, contact us at World Scientific (editor@wspc.com).
