About the Journal
Canadian Journal of Remote Sensing is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research. Please see the journal's Aims & Scope for information about its focus and peer-review policy.
Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English and French. Titles and Abstracts are published in both English and French. CJRS recommends that authors use Canadian (British) English. Authors can use American English if they are more familiar with it; however, the chosen language must be used consistently within each article.
Canadian Journal of Remote Sensing accepts the following types of article: original articles.
Members of the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute (CASI) and the Canadian Remote Sensing Society (CRSS-SCT) can choose to publish their article Gold Open Access for a reduced article publishing charge (APC) of 2,065 USD/ 1,250 GBP / 1,505 EUR, which represents a discount of 30% on the standard APC. Please provide your member discount code when generating your quote through the Author Side Charges system after the paper is accepted.
Manuscript Submission The Editorial Board invites the submission of Research articles, Research notes, and Review papers for publication in the Canadian Journal of Remote Sensing (CJRS).
CJRS receives all manuscript submissions electronically via their ScholarOne Manuscripts website located at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/cjrs-jct. ScholarOne Manuscripts allows for rapid and easy submission of original and revised manuscripts, as well as reviewing and internal communication between authors, editors and reviewers via a web-based platform. Open Access
You have the option to publish open access in this journal via our Open Select publishing program. Preparing Your Paper
Structure
Your paper should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; figure captions (as a list).
Word Limits
Please include a word count for your paper. There are no word limits for papers in this journal.
