PhD in Biological Sciences in Public Health

All PhD programs at Harvard University are administered by the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS), and applications are processed through the GSAS online application system.

Four PhD programs are based at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, designed for students seeking specialized scientific and technical expertise to propel an academic or research career:

-PhD in Biological Sciences in Public Health

-PhD in Biostatistics

-PhD in Health Policy*

-PhD in Population Health Sciences

FUNDING

All students admitted to the PhD in these program, including international students, are guaranteed full funding, which includes a stipend as well as tuition and health insurance for five years, provided they make satisfactory progress.

APPLICATION PROCESS

Like all PhD (doctor of philosophy) programs at the School, the PhD in these programs are offered under the aegis of the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (GSAS). Applications are processed through the GSAS online application system.
