SCI论文时态 现在时vs过去时

写作SCI论文的时候，很多小伙伴都有现在时、过去时傻傻分不清楚的感觉。今天侯博就给大家分享一下自己的心得。
1.简单粗暴的过去时
1.1在论文中描述我们的具体实验方法，过程等基本一律使用过去时。因为这些内容都是在我们撰写SCI论文时已经完成的。
例如：
We hypothesized that group A would remembermore items than group B.
We chose compound 1 as the startingmaterial.
In experiment 2, XX reacted with YY.
1.2引用文献的报道词，一律使用过去时。
例如：
In 2000, Smith reported …
Recently, Smith showed/displayed…
2. 一般现在时
2.1被普遍接受或者认知的一律用一般现在时
例如：
Graphene is a single layer …
The sun is bigger than the moon.
Genetic information is encoded in thesequence of nucleotides on DNA.
2.2 正在写作和讨论的内容
Figure 1/Table 2 shows/displays …
The results indicates/illustrates …
3. 现在时和过去时混用
3.1 文献报道的内容已经被广泛接受:报道词（修饰文献作者的动词）用过去时，内容用一般现在时。
例如
（In 2006,）Smith reported that XX is …
Galileo assertedthat the earth revolves around the sun.
3.2 选择某个事实：选择这个动作为过去时，表达事实用一般现在时
We chosegraphene as the supporting materials because it has…
Group A wasselected to … due to it is …
