英语论文中经常出现有关“国内外”的词语，如domestic，foreign，China，overseas，at home and abroad，domestic and foreign，our country，in our country，in China，in foreign country等，其间是有区别的，如果不加区分而随意使用，就容易出现表达不当甚至产生错误。

The contributing factors at home and abroad were analyzed by retrospective analysis so as to provide new thought and reasonable interventions for further studies.
Example 2
At present, domestic and foreign scholars mainly use experimental method, analytical method and numerical method to carry out impact effect research of gas jet.
此两句分别用at home and abroad和domestic and foreign表述国内外之意，以作者所在国为“国内”，其他国为“国外”的角度来写，表面上没有什么问题。但从英语论文主要面向国际这一角度来看，这类词不应该出现，特别是当论文的作者来自多个国家时（有的来自同一国家，有的可能来自另一国家，有的还可能“身兼数国”），使用诸如at home and abroad、domestic and foreign、our country之类的词时，容易出现指代不明或逻辑混乱。
以上两句的参考修改方案：

此三句分别用in our country、Domestic、Foreign表示“在我国”“国内”“国外”，暗含从作者所在国家的角度来表达的意味，当读者所在国家与作者所在国家不同，或论文的作者来自多个国家时，就会造成指代不明或逻辑错误。写作行文必要时应明确交代国名。
以上三句的参考修改方案（以中国作者为例）：
The research status of intelligent manufacturing in China is analyzed and prospected.
Chinese scholars usually use two-dimensional numerical simulation model to carry out the research.
Scholars outside China usually use three-dimensional numerical simulation model to carry out the research.
Example 6
Overseas scholars usually use three-dimensional numerical simulation model to carry out the research.
Overseas是“海外的；外国的”之意。此句中的Overseas实际所指可能不太清楚，可以按照表意进行修改。
此句参考修改方案：
Scholars outside China usually use three-dimensional numerical simulation model to carry out the research.
Scholars outside the mainland of China usually use three-dimensional numerical simulation model to carry out the research.
