投稿—送审（2周-4周）—大修（2个月-4个月）—小修（2个月-4个月）—接受—校对（1个月）

合适的催稿时间

通常不是特别着急的话，不建议催稿，有被拒稿的风险。

实在想催稿的话，如果投稿后4-5个月，没有收到大修审稿意见，此时可以考虑催稿。小修想催的话，建议在revision提交后的4-5个月。

Dear Editor:

I am very sorry to disturb you. We understand that peer review process may take longer time than expected due to COVID-19 pandemic. Our manuscript titled “title” (ID：xxx) has remained "under review” for about four months and seems a bit unusual. I am really worrying about the status of our manuscript, because the first author of this manuscript is one of my Ph.D. candidate students, who is expected to be graduated in June, 2023. However, he needs another accepted or published paper so that he can be qualified to graduate. It will be highly appreciated if you could spend some of your time checking the status for us. I hope you understand our difficulty.

We deeply appreciate your kind help and sincerely apologize for our presumptuous request.
