The Journal of Economic Perspectives《经济展望杂志》(季刊). The Journal of Economic Perspectives (JEP) attempts to fill a gap between the general interest press and most other academic economics journals. The journal aims to publish articles that will serve several goals: to synthesize and integrate lessons learned from active lines of economic research; to provide economic analysis of public policy issues; to encourage cross-fertilization of ideas among the fields of thinking; to offer readers an accessible source for state-of-the-art economic thinking; to suggest directions for future research; to provide insights and readings for classroom use; and to address issues relating to the economics profession. Articles appearing in the journal are normally solicited by the editors and associate editors.
Specializing in mathematical economic theory, Journal of Economics focuses on microeconomic theory while also publishing papers on macroeconomic topics as well as econometric case studies of general interest. Regular supplementary volumes are devoted to topics of central importance to both modern theoretical research and present economic reality.
As economics becomes increasingly specialized, communication amongst economists becomes even more important. The Journal of Economic Surveys seeks to improve the communication of new ideas. It provides a means by which economists can keep abreast of recent developments beyond their immediate specialization. Areas covered include: economics, econometrics, economic history and business economics.
The Journal of Economic Theory publishes original research on economic theory. It is the most general-interest journal among those specializing in economic theory. It is also one of nine core journals in all of economics. The Journal strives to respond in four months from receipt of the manuscript. It is committed to maintaining a fair and balanced view of different fields in economic theory, with an emphasis on innovative work. Submissions with significant empirical, experimental, quantitative, and computational contributions are welcome, provided they are firmly grounded in theory.
Journal of Applied Economics is a peer-reviewed open access journal covering applied issues in micro and macroeconomics, including: Industrial Organization; International Economics; Labor Economics; Finance; Money and Banking; Growth; Public Finance; Political Economy; Law and Economics; Environmental Economics.
The Journal of Asian Economics publishes original research works from all fields of economics, particularly those with an emphasis on the economy of Asian Countries. Research that compares the economic development in Asian Countries with that in other countries is also encouraged.
Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics《行为与实验经济学杂志》(双月刊). The Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics (formerly the Journal of Socio-Economics) welcomes submissions that deal with various economic topics but also involve issues that are related to other social sciences, especially psychology, or use experimental methods of inquiry. Thus, contributions in behavioral economics, experimental economics, economic psychology, and judgment and decision making are especially welcome. The journal is open to different research methodologies, as long as they are relevant to the topic and employed rigorously.
The Journal of Cultural Economics is published in cooperation with The Association for Cultural Economics International. It applies economic analysis to all of the creative and performing arts and the heritage and cultural industries, whether publicly or privately funded. Furthermore, the journal explores the economic organization of the cultural sector and the behavior of producers, consumers, and governments within the cultural sector.
The Journal of Development Economics publishes original research papers relating to all aspects of economic development - from immediate policy concerns to structural problems of underdevelopment. The emphasis is on quantitative or analytical work, which is novel and relevant. The Journal does not publish book reviews. We welcome papers that take up questions in development economics that are of interest to the general readers of the journal, and then use data from a particular country or region to answer them. However, we do not publish articles that are essentially in-depth studies of a specific country, region, case, or event whose findings are unlikely to be of great interest to the general readers of the journal. In our review process we pre-screen all papers, some of which are immediately rejected.
The Journal of Choice Modelling publishes theoretical and applied papers in the field of choice modelling. Papers are expected to either make a methodological contribution to the field, or to present an innovative application. The journal is not limited to one area of study, such as transport or marketing, but invites contributions from across a range of disciplines where the analysis of choice behaviour is a topic of interest. While the majority of papers focus on the use of discrete choice models, contributions looking at other methods are also welcome. Similarly, the Journal of Choice Modelling also welcomes contributions looking at survey design.
