Contributions on other regions are welcome if they embed their findings into a conceptual framework that relates the contribution to Alpine-type orogens and Alpine regions in general and are thus relevant to an international audience.

Geoscientific Instrumentation, Methods and Data Systems (GI) is a not-for-profit open-access interdisciplinary electronic journal for swift publication of original articles and short communications in the area of geoscientific instruments. It covers four main areas: (i) atmospheric and geospace sciences, (ii) Earth science, (iii) ocean science, and (iv) urban environmental monitoring. A unique feature of the journal is the emphasis on the synergy between science and technology that facilitates advances in GI.
BSGF-Earth Sciences Bulletin《BSGF:地球科学通报》（双月刊）. BSGF - Earth Sciences Bulletin aims at publishing several main types of contributions: original papers, covering all disciplinary fields of Geosciences, either fundamental or applied (hazards, resources); review articles, making the point on a specific domain of Geosciences, either methodological or regional; monographies on the geology of a given region, with supplementary informations, maps, cross-sections, logs, seismic profiles … attached to the main online; rapid communications (‘express letter’ type); excursion guide-books (they will follow the same review process as traditional articles); scientific reports of offshore cruises; articles reporting geodetic, geophysical or geochemical data (data papers) that may then become reference papers for future interpretations des articles de données géodésiques, géophysiques ou géochimiques, pouvant servir de base à des interprétations ultérieures.
Estonian Journal of Earth Sciences《爱沙尼亚地球科学杂志》（季刊）. The Estonian Journal of Earth Sciences is an international scientific open access journal of the Estonian Academy of Sciences published in collaboration with Tallinn University of Technology, the Estonian University of Life Sciences and Tallinn University. The journal publishes primary research and review papers in the English language. All articles are provided with short Estonian summaries.
