ZEITSCHRIFT DER DEUTSCHEN GESELLSCHAFT FUR GEOWISSENSCHAFTEN《德国地球科学协会汇刊》（季刊）。Zeitschrift der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Geowissenschaften (ZDGG) is an international peer reviewed journal that accepts papers on research and applied topics in the Earth Sciences. It is published online and in print. One volume, consisting of four issues is published annually. The journal is continously published by German Geological Society since its foundation in 1848. It was relaunched in 2005.
Acta Carsologica《岩溶学报》（一年3期）. Acta Carsologica publishes original research papers and reviews, letters, essays and reports covering topics related to specific of karst areas. These comprise, but are not limited to karst geology, hydrology, and geomorphology, speleology, hydrogeology, biospeleology and history of karst science.
American Journal of Science《美国科学杂志》（一年1卷）. The American Journal of Science (AJS), founded in 1818 by Benjamin Silliman, is the oldest scientific journal in the United States that has been published continuously. The Journal is devoted to geology and related sciences and publishes articles from around the world presenting results of major research from all earth sciences. Readers are primarily earth scientists in academia and government institutions. AJS had an impact factor of 3.566 and a five year impact factor of 4.217 for 2015, ranking near the top for all peer-reviewed earth sciences journals publishing new content. Articles in AJS tend to be cited for many years, resulting in a citation half-life that exceeds 10 years (all statistics from Thomson ISI).
Terra Nova《特拉诺瓦》（双月刊）。Terra Nova publishes short, innovative and provocative papers of interest to a wide readership and covering the broadest spectrum of the Solid Earth and Planetary Sciences. Terra Nova encompasses geology, geophysics and geochemistry, and extends to the fluid envelopes (atmosphere, ocean, environment) whenever coupling with the Solid Earth is involved. Papers that are of interest to Terra Nova readers will usually expose new general principles and understanding or challenge conventional wisdom.
TERRESTRIAL ATMOSPHERIC AND OCEANIC SCIENCES《陆地大气和海洋科学》（双月刊）。The major publication of the Chinese Geoscience Union (located in Taipei) since 1990, the journal of Terrestrial, Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences (TAO) publishes bi-monthly scientific research articles, notes, correspondences and reviews in all disciplines of the Earth sciences. It is the amalgamation of the following journals:Papers in Meteorological Research (published by the Meteorological Society of the ROC) since Vol. 12, No. 2；Bulletin of Geophysics (published by the Institute of Geophysics, National Central University) since No. 27；Acta Oceanographica Taiwanica (published by the Institute of Oceanography, National Taiwan University) since Vol. 42
Australian Journal of Earth Sciences《澳大利亚地球科学杂志》（一年8期）. Australian Journal of Earth Sciences publishes peer-reviewed research papers as well as significant review articles of general interest to geoscientists. The Journal covers the whole field of earth science including basin studies, regional geophysical studies and metallogeny. There is usually a thematic issue each year featuring a selection of papers on a particular area of earth science. Shorter papers are encouraged and are given priority in publication. Critical discussion of recently published papers is also encouraged.
AUSTRIAN JOURNAL OF EARTH SCIENCES《奥地利地球科学杂志》（半年刊）. AUSTRIAN JOURNAL OF EARTH SCIENCE focuses on all aspects relevant to the geosciences of the Alps, Bohemian Massif and surrounding areas. Contributions on other regions are welcome if they embed their findings into a conceptual framework that relates the contribution to Alpine-type orogens and Alpine regions in general and are thus relevant to an international audience.
BASIN RESEARCH《盆地研究》（双月刊）. Basin Research is an international journal which aims to publish original, high impact research papers on sedimentary basin systems. We view integrated, interdisciplinary research as being essential for the advancement of the subject area; therefore, we do not seek manuscripts focused purely on sedimentology, structural geology, or geophysics that have a natural home in specialist journals. Rather, we seek manuscripts that treat sedimentary basins as multi-component systems that require a multi-faceted approach to advance our understanding of their development.
DOKLADY EARTH SCIENCES《多克拉迪地球科学》（月刊）。Doklady Earth Sciences is a journal that publishes new research in Earth science of great significance. Initially the journal was a forum of the Russian Academy of Science and published only best contributions from Russia. Now the journal welcomes submissions from any country in the English or Russian language. Every manuscript must be recommended by Russian or foreign members of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
EARTH AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE TRANSACTIONS OF THE ROYAL SOCIETY OF EDINBURGH《地球与环境科学交易》（季刊）。Earth and Environmental Science Transactions (formerly Transactions of the Royal Society of Edinburgh: Earth Sciences) is a general earth sciences journal publishing a comprehensive selection of substantial peer-reviewed research papers, reviews and short communications of international standard across the broad spectrum of the Earth and its surface environments. The journal prides itself on the quality of its graphics and photographic reproduction.
