WATERBIRDS（水鸟）（季刊）. Waterbirds is an international scientific journal, published four times a year, specializing in the biology, status, ecology, management and conservation of all waterbird species living in marine, estuarine and freshwater habitats. Waterbirds welcomes submission of scientific articles and notes containing the results of original studies worldwide, unsolicited critical commentary and reviews of appropriate topics.
WILDFOWL《野禽》（年刊）. Wildfowl is an international scientific journal published annually by the Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust (WWT). It disseminates original material on the ecology, biology and conservation of wildfowl (Anseriformes) and ecologically associated birds (such as waders, rails and flamingos), and on their wetland habitats. Research and review articles related to policy development and application are welcome. Material on habitat management is also sought, particularly where this is directed to the conservation of wildfowl and other wetland birds.
WILSON JOURNAL OF ORNITHOLOGY《威尔逊鸟类学杂志》（季刊）. The Wilson Journal of Ornithology began publication in 1889, and continues to publish work and book reviews related to the study of living birds and their behavior, ecology, adaptive physiology, and conservation.
ACTA ORNITHOLOGICA《鸟类学学报》（半年刊）. Acta Ornithologica publishes scientific papers (original research reports, reviews, short notes, etc.) and announcements from all fields of ornithology. It is open for authors from all countries. The language of papers is English (with Polish summaries). All manuscripts are peer-reviewed.
ARDEA《鹭属》（半年刊）. Ardea is the scientific journal of the Netherlands Ornithologists Union, and is published since 1912. The journal welcomes manuscripts reporting significant new findings in ornithology, in particular those covering the ecology, life history, and evolution of birds, and including sound descriptive work. Ardea publishes Original research papers, Short notes and Book reviews.
ARDEOLA-INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF ORNITHOLOGY《池鹭属-国际鸟类学杂志》（半年刊）. Ardeola: International Journal of Ornithology is the scientific journal of SEO/BirdLife, the Spanish Ornithological Society. The journal had a regional focus when it was first published, in 1954. Since then, and particular during the past two decades, the journal has expanded its thematic and geographical scope. It is now a fully international forum for research on all aspects of ornithology

Ornithology publishes original research from all parts of the globe that tests fundamental, scientific hypotheses through ornithological studies and advances our understanding of living or extinct bird species. Descriptive studies are considered if they present new taxonomic information about birds, such as scientifically rigorous descriptions of new species, or important discoveries that open novel avenues of fundamental, ornithological research.
IBIS《鹮》（季刊）. IBIS publishes original papers, reviews, short communications and forum articles reflecting the forefront of international research activity in ornithological science, with special emphasis on the behaviour, ecology, evolution and conservation of birds. IBIS aims to publish as rapidly as is consistent with the requirements of peer-review and normal publishing constraints.
JOURNAL OF ASIAN ORNITHOLOGY《亚洲鸟类学杂志》（原：FORKTAIL《燕尾属》）（年刊）. The Journal of Asian Ornithology (formerly Forktail) is the flagship scholarly publication of the Oriental Bird Club (OBC). It publishes original papers in the English language concerning all aspects of ornithology (e.g. behavioural biology, life history, distribution, taxonomy, nomenclature, ecology, and conservation) in the Oriental and Eastern Palaearctic regions.
Journal of Avian Biology《鸟类生物学杂志》（双月刊）. Journal of Avian Biology publishes empirical and theoretical research in all areas of ornithology, with an emphasis on behavioural ecology, evolution and conservation. Preferably, papers should test hypotheses or explore new grounds. Purely descriptive studies are accepted only when they contain important information that give rise to novel questions and/or open up new grounds.
