今天跟大家分享我新近创作的一首英诗，内容追溯到我的童年，也就是1957年-1966年间。那时候，我居住在福州钱塘巷的一座老式四合院民居里，有天井，有花厅，有大厅，有后院，还有一个九彩小学的操场。诗歌记录着我那逝去的童年时光。

The Place I Called Home

No.30 of Qiantan Lane, my childhood spent with glee
A home so dear, with memories so pure and free
Two courtyards, front and back, a space so bright
Where laughter and joy, we children took flight
In the front yard, two main rooms on either side
Where family gathered, love and comfort did abide
And in the back, several rooms, a playground too
Where dragonflies we chased, and laughter filled the blue
Beyond the backyard, a well for all to see
Where people came to quench, in Fuzhou summer's scorching heat
And there was a Longgan Tree, where cicadas sang
A symphony at dusk, a childhood memory that still rang.

钱塘巷30号，是我童年的快乐
有一个温馨的家，给我纯洁和自由的回忆
前后庭院，宽敞明亮
孩子们活蹦乱跳，欢声笑语
前院有两间厢房，两侧各一间
家人聚集的地方，充满了关爱
后院有几间侧房，还有一个操场
孩子们在操场里追逐蜻蜓，空中洋溢着欢乐
后院的另一边，有一口井
福州酷暑难熬，人们到此汲水消渴
远处还有一棵龙眼树，知了不停地唱着
黄昏的交响乐，童年的回忆难以忘怀

A Fond Memory of My Childhood Home
My childhood was filled with happiness and joy at a place I called home, located at No. 30 Qiantan Lane. This cherished home held countless memories that were both pure and free. The house had two courtyards, one in the front and another in the back, which were bright, open spaces where we, as children, would play and laugh.
The front yard had two main rooms on either side, where our family would gather, sharing love and comfort. In the back, there were several additional rooms and a playground where we would chase dragonflies and fill the air with our laughter.
Beyond the backyard, there was a well that everyone could use, especially during the scorching summer heat in Fuzhou. People would come to the well to quench their thirst and cool off. Near the well, there was a Longgan Tree where cicadas would sing their symphony at dusk, a nostalgic childhood memory that still resonates with me today.
In summary, my childhood home at No. 30 Qiantan Lane holds a special place in my heart. The warm memories of family gatherings, playful afternoons, and the soothing songs of cicadas continue to remind me of the joy and innocence of those simpler times.

怀念童年的住居
我的童年是在福州鼓楼区钱塘巷30号的一个老院子里度过的，日子过得悠闲而快乐。这是一个令人怀念的家居，承载着很多至今难以忘怀的回忆。大院内有前后两进院落。宽敞的空间是孩子们嬉戏玩耍、欢声笑语的游乐场。
前院有两间厢房，左右侧各一间，记得有个毛太太，是两格声（福州人称外来外为两格声，即不会说福州话的人），就住在右侧那间屋子里，她说见多识广，经常跟我们说她在昆明的经历，印象最深的就是她能生吃西红柿，那时候，谁家不是要把番茄炒熟了吃？！大院里共住着六七户人家，邻居们都很友好，大家分享着友谊，菜端来端去的！后院里还有几间房子，以及一个操场，孩子们便在那里追逐蜻蜓，不时地发出欢笑声。
在后院的尽头，有一口供大家使用的井，特别是在炎炎夏日里，邻居们都来到这口井汲水消暑。井边有一棵龙眼树，蝉鸣不绝于耳，夕阳西下时的交响曲，至今仍是让我怀念的童年回忆。
不言而喻，钱塘巷30号至今仍在我心中占据着特殊的地位。那些夏夜躺在竹榻上纳凉的时光、那欢快的午后吃着大西瓜的味道，以及蝉鸣的悠扬歌声，都让我想起那简单、欢乐与纯真的时光！
