Criteria for manuscripts
The Editorial Board of Journal of Applied Biomedicine takes under consideration for publication original articles with the understanding that neither the manuscript nor any parts of its essential substance, tables or figures have been published previously in print form or electronically and are not under consideration by any other publication or electronic medium. Copies of any closely related manuscripts should be submitted to the Editor along with the manuscript that is to be considered by Journal of Applied Biomedicine. Each submission packet should include the statement signed by the first author that the work has not been published previously or submitted elsewhere for review and a copyright transfer.

Cover letter
Your cover letter should 1) show the significance of your research, 2) highlight the novelty of your manuscript, 3) elucidate why your manuscript is suitable for publication in the Journal of Applied Biomedicine, 4) identify the authors - it is advisable to include the ORCID Number or Web of Science ResearcherID of the authors. Please upload the cover letter in the pdf format.
Cover letter is an important advertisement of your work and can significantly affect the outcome of the review process. Please include a brief background of your study and the research question you sought to answer, principle findings and significance to scientific community and a statement that your paper has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal and that all authors have approved of and have agreed to submit the manuscript to this journal.
Manuscript:
In editable format (MS Office document, rtf file, ...)
Including title, keywords, highlights
All figures (include relevant captions)
All tables (including titles, description, footnotes)
Ensure all figure and table citations in the text match the files provided
Pulishing Agreement
Please sign the Publishing Agreement and upload it during the submission of your manuscript (the template can be downloaded from the bottom of this page).
Further considerations
Manuscript has been 'spell checked' and 'grammar checked'
All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa
Permission has been obtained for use of copyrighted material from other sources (including the Internet)
A competing interests statement is provided, even if the authors have no competing interests to declare
Journal policies detailed in this guide have been reviewed
Referee suggestions and contact details provided, based on journal requirements
Ethics in publishing
Publishing Ethics follows COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines available here: https://publicationethics.org/. The Publishing Ethics statement is divided into four parts, which are dedicated to the duties of the editor, referees, authors and publishers.
