Author Guidelines
GAYANA is an open access journal, published by Facultad de Ciencias Naturales y Oceanográficas, Universidad de Concepción, Chile.
GAYANA receives the following types of contributions: Original Article, Review, Short Communication, Editorial, Book Commentary and Obituary.
The scope of GAYANA have four main research lines:
Earth Sciences: includes but is not limited to studies in Oceanography, Limnology, Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences.
Ecology: includes but is not limited to studies in functional ecology, trophic dynamics, and microbial ecology.
Environmental Biology: includes studies of environmental pollution in freshwater, marine, and terrestrial ecosystems, and resource management.
Biodiversity and Taxonomy: includes but is not limited to Biodiversity, description and species classification.
