2016年，厦门大学成立了以世界著名经济学家、美国普林斯顿大学经济学教授邹至庄名字命名的厦门大学邹至庄经济研究中心。2022年5月，中心升格为厦门大学邹至庄经济研究院，其使命是培养世界一流经济学家，关注中国经济与政策研究，产出国际一流的原创性成果，成为两岸四地乃至世界的经济学国际学术交流中心。
邹至庄经济研究院拥有国家自然科学基金“计量建模与经济政策研究”基础科学中心、计量经济学教育部重点实验室（厦门大学）、以及厦门大学宏观经济研究中心。
“计量建模与经济政策研究”基础科学中心是厦门大学王亚南经济研究院与中国科学院预测科学研究中心联合申请，于2019年获批立项的国家自然科学基金委员会管理科学部首个基础科学中心，也是福建省和厦门大学的首个国家级基础科学中心。基础科学中心依托厦大与中科院在计量经济学、统计学与数据科学、预测科学、政策经济学、数量金融学、国际经济学、资源环境与气候变化经济学等领域的研究优势，积极推动学科深度交叉融合，致力科学前沿突破，产生了一批国际领先水平的原创成果，成为有国际影响的计量建模与经济预测学术高地。
计量经济学教育部重点实验室（厦门大学）是2009年教育部立项、2013年正式获批的全国首批文理交叉教育部重点实验室，也是全国首个经济学教育部重点实验室，致力于推动厦门大学乃至中国的计量经济学教育、研究与国际学术交流。
厦门大学宏观经济研究中心成立于2001年9月，是以厦门大学经济学科为基础而设立的一个具有综合研究性质的实体研究机构。该中心从2005年2月起，成为教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地之一和国家哲学社会科学创新基地的重要组成部分，长期从事中国宏观经济分析与预测研究。
邹至庄经济研究院秉承严谨求实的科学探索精神，致力于推进经济学研究范式与研究方法创新，实现学科交融，解决共性难题，拓展原创性知识体系；致力于面向国家经济建设与社会治理重大需求，开展有针对性的政策研究，推动新型智库建设；致力于培养以学术为导向，具有扎实经济学理论基础，系统掌握计量经济学原理和应用方法，深刻了解中国经济制度的高端学术型人才。

· 招聘条件·
1.遵守中华人民共和国法律法规，具有良好科学道德，自觉践行新时代科学家精神，符合厦门大学相应岗位教师任职条件，能够履行教师岗位职责。
2. 各类岗位的具体要求：
（1）长聘教轨助理教授。年龄一般不超过35岁；在2023年7月前取得博士学位，在本专业领域取得非常突出的成绩，并具有巨大的发展潜力。海外申请人和国内申请人需要具备如下条件：海外申请人需在海外（境外）著名研究型大学取得博士学位，具有独立研究能力，并能够用英语开展教学；国内申请人需具有国内研究型大学博士学位，至少一年以上的海外高水平研究型大学研究或访问经历，具备全英文教学能力，并能在国内外一流学术期刊上发表高质量论文。
（2）长聘副教授。年龄不超过40周岁；具备优秀的教学能力，能胜任研究生导师角色，已取得具有原创性和重要性的科研成果，在领域内有相当的知名度和影响力，达到世界一流大学终身副教授水平。
（3）长聘教授。年龄不超过45周岁；活跃在教学科研第一线，在其研究领域前沿取得国际同行认可的学术成就，具有相当的国际知名度和影响力，在教学和研究生培养方面表现优秀并取得了良好的成果，在学科建设中起到重要作用，达到世界一流大学终身教授的水平。
· 聘任待遇 ·
1.长聘教轨助理教授实行准聘制，长聘副教授及以上岗位实行聘任制，具体要求按照学校有关规定执行。
2. 各类岗位均实行具有市场竞争力的年薪制。此外，根据厦门大学经济学科相关政策，对聘用人员额外给予相应绩效奖励和课酬奖励。
3. 学院为教师配备独立办公室、高性能计算设备等一流研究环境；有专业、高效的行政团队和技术团队提供保障。
4. 科研启动经费、安家费、个人补贴按国家、厦门市政府及厦门大学相关政策执行。
5. 厦门大学实施一系列高层次人才计划，申请人可申报国家各级人才计划，以及福建省人才计划、厦门大学“南强青年拔尖人才”计划和相关科研项目。
6. 符合厦门市人才住房、保障性住房等申请条件的，可申购相关住房。符合厦门大学申请条件的，也可申请承租学校周转房和人才公寓。
7. 享受优质教育资源。参照厦门市规定，符合相关要求的高层次人才可拥有子女义务教育阶段择校权等相应入学优惠待遇。

·Job Description and Qualification·
Paula and Gregory Chow Institute for Studies in Economics (Chow Institute) invites applications for either tenure-track or tenured full-time faculty positions in the upcoming academic year, starting in September 2023.
Any field. Our preferred areas of specializations are – but are not limited to – econometrics, statistics and data science, economics, and finance.
Junior candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. degree by August 2023 and show evidence of promising research ability. Senior candidates must have a Ph.D. degree and a demonstrably strong research record.

The Paula and Gregory Chow Institute for Studies in Economics is one of the China’s leading centers for basic research, policy evaluation and academic training. First founded as the Chow Center in 2016 under the auspice and generosity of Professor Gregory Chow from Princeton, Chow Institute was upgraded to an independent institution in May 2022. Chow Institute is devoted to excellence in training academic candidates, producing original research, and facilitating dialogue of strong policy relevance.
Chow Institute embraces three research centers: The NSFC Fundamental Scientific Center for Econometric Modelling and Economic Policy Studies, the Key Laboratory of Econometrics of the Ministry of Education (Xiamen University), and the Macroeconomic Research Center of Xiamen University.
The NSFC Fundamental Scientific Center for Econometric Modelling and Economic Policy Studies (FSCE) is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and jointly managed by the Center for Forecasting Science at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Approved in 2019, FSCE is the first national fundamental scientific center not only in the Management Science Division of NSFC, but also in Fujian Province and Xiamen University. The Key Laboratory of Econometrics of the Ministry of Education (Xiamen University) is among one of the first key laboratories of the Ministry of Education founded in 2009. As China's first key laboratory in Economics, the Key Lab strives to promote econometrics education, research and international academic exchanges in Xiamen University and China.
The Macroeconomic Research Center of Xiamen University (MRC) was established in September 2001 with a specific research agenda focusing on policy relevance. Since February 2005, MRC has become a key research center for humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education. It is also one of the important components of the National Philosophy and Social Science Innovation Base, and has long been engaged in China's macroeconomic analysis and forecasting research.
