期刊介绍
Journal of Chinese Creative Writing Studies这本英文学术年刊是《中国创意写作研究》(集刊)出版计划下的最新成果,主要刊登有关创意写作与各个方面的文章、访谈和书评,包括文学、文化、翻译和跨媒体探索等领域,并旨在促进中文创意写作的发展和创新,推动海内外学者的对话,以及促进跨学科与跨文化的交流。
第一期文章包括对中国特色创意写作的探讨、当代书法作为创意写作的解读、香港大专院校英语创意写作课程的研究与分析,以及收录了两篇来自「第九届世界华文创意写作大会」的获奖论文,包括《黑神话.悟空》的游戏叙事与香港都会大学有关微小说写作的教学方法。 此外,本期还收录《华文创意写作与跨媒体实践》的书评,以及与中山大学国际翻译学院戴凡教授的访谈。

《Journal of Chinese Creative Writing Studies》Submission Information
【官网信息】
• The Journal of Chinese Creative Writing Studies is an annual publication that features research papers, book reviews, and interviews in the fields of creative writing and literature, culture, translation and cross-media, both related to Sinophone and English-speaking contexts.
• Our commitment extends beyond showcasing Chinese contributions; we aim to highlight insights from the international academic community. We welcome submissions on creative writing on a global scale, not limited to those focu on Chinese creative writing.
• This journal is published in December every year, and we accept submissions year-round.
All articles should be original. Please note that we do not accept simultaneous submissions.
• The journal shall not be held liable for copyright violations. Authors are responsible for securing written permission to reproduce all copyrighted materials, including illustrations,photos, and long citations. The author shall bear full responsibility for all legal consequences if violations occur instead of the journal.
• Please submit a Word file that includes the author’s name, affiliation and email address to tkpccc@hkmu.edu.hk.
• All accepted papers will also be included in the electronic database authorised by this journal for academic research purposes. Authors are required to complete a consent form for authorised use.
• All research papers undergo an anonymous review process. Authors will usually be notified of the paper’s acceptance within three months. If selected for publication, authors will receive two copies of that particular issue as a token of appreciation. No remuneration will be offered.
Guidelines and Formats
• The manuscript should be written in English and should be between 8,000 and 10,000 words in length (excluding the footnotes and references).
• The article’s title, content and numbers should be in Times New Roman. Regarding the font size, the title should be in 14 points, the sub-title should be in 12, and the content should be in 11 points. Please provide an English abstract of up to 200 words and 3-5 keywords.
Also, this journal prefers British English spelling.
• For Chinese terms, if an official translation exists or an English version is available, the Chinese translation may be used directly after the English term (e.g., Romance of the Three Kingdoms 三國演義 or The Literary Mind and the Carving of Dragons 文心雕龍).
Otherwise, it is recommended to use the Pinyin system for names and terms in Chinese,followed by the Chinese characters and English translations, e.g., san buxiu 三不朽(Three Immortal Deeds) or xungen wenxue 尋根文學 (Root-seeking Literature).
• If the article contains tables and figures, these should be numbered consecutively and labelled as Table or Fig. Each must be referenced in the main text at appropriate points (e.g.,“see Fig. 1...”). Additionally, the first letter of each word in the title should be capitalised,except for conjunctions and prepositions.
• For copyrighted images, authors must obtain permission or a publication agreement in advance and include source information and credit in the image caption.
• All articles must use footnotes to cite sources, formatted in a font size of 10. Footnotes should begin with the number 1 and continue sequentially. A comprehensive reference list should be included at the end of the article. If a source is cited multiple times, please provide the author’s name, title, and page numbers within the citation.
• This journal follows the Chicago Manual of Style, formatted as follows:
