经过近一年的筹备，武汉体育学院主办的《运动与健康科学前沿（英文）》（Advanced Exercise and Health Science，AEHS，ISSN：2950-273X，季刊）于2024年3月正式出刊。创刊号已在Science Direct数据库上线, 所有文章采取Open Access模式。
AEHS是武汉体育学院创办的第一本运动与健康科学领域的英文学术期刊。武汉体育学院校长吕万刚教授和澳大利亚Victoria University的 Andrew McAinch 教授担任共同主编。武汉体育学院陈宁教授担任执行主编。比利时UCLouvain大学的 Louise Deldicque 教授和加拿大McMaster University的 Gianni Parise 教授担任副主编。编委会由来自澳大利亚、加拿大、美国、英国、德国、新西兰、比利时、意大利、西班牙、丹麦、巴西、智利和中国等 10 多个国家的 50 多名国际知名学者和专家组成。
全球人口面临众多健康挑战，在电子产品的普及下，人的终生活动量却在不断减少。要减轻我们面临的疾病负担，了解运动对健康的促进作用至关重要。AEHS涵盖运动与健康科学领域的新成果，新技术和新理论。特别强调对各种健康状况的多学科研究，利用人体或动物模型，以干预后运动表现、心血管健康和肌肉功能的测量作为结果，探索运动促进健康和疾病康复的剂量-疗效关系和内在机制；此外，使用电刺激或运动记忆法进行的肌肉细胞培养模型研究也是我们关注的重点。 AEHS涵盖的主题包括但不限于：运动与健康促进和政策，运动生理学与营养学，运动医学，运动与健康心理学，运动生物力学，运动与营养的分子和细胞生物学，运动与人工智能。
AEHS的创刊，既是响应国家双一流建设的重大战略需求，也是培育世界一流科技期刊，推动国际学术交流的发展需要。期刊致力于服务来自高等院校、科研机构、医疗系统以及其他运动科学领域相关人员。目的是为世界各地的学者提供一个学术交流的平台，探讨运动与健康科学领域的前沿理论和方法，分享运动与健康科学领域的最新研究成果，指导健康促进与疾病康复。欢迎海内外从事运动与健康科学研究的专家和学者在AEHS平台分享高质量创新研究成果、综述和系统综述。引领运动与健康科学研究方向。AEHS期待您的关注与支持！

INTRODUCTION
About the Journal
Advanced Exercise and Health Science (AEHS) encompasses a broad range of themes within exercise and health science, with a particular emphasis on multidisciplinary research into various health conditions and the use of exercise/sport as an intervention, or measurements of exercise performance, cardiovascular fitness, and muscle function as key outcomes of the intervention. The primary objective of this journal is to explore the dose-efficacy relationship and underlying mechanisms of exercise-induced health promotion and disease rehabilitation, thereby advancing the field of exercise and health science. Original research, as well as reviews and systematic reviews with or without meta-analysis, that address these objectives, are highly encouraged. Research studies utilizing human, animal or cell culture models that address the journal's aims are welcome.
Current areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
Exercise and health promotion and policy; Exercise physiology and nutrition; Exercise medicine; Exercise and health psychology; Exercise biomechanics; Molecular and cell biology of exercise and nutrition; Exercise and artificial intelligence.
