Green Processing and Synthesis

Instructions for Authors

(last update: December 20

A IMS AND SCOPE

Green Processing and Synthesis (GREENPS) is a peer-reviewed Open Access journal that provides up-to-date research both on fundamental as well as applied aspects, giving an appropriate share to industrial views. GREENPS is dedicated in general to innovative and green process development and chemical synthesis covering:

· Flow chemistry, microreaction technology and microfluidics

· Process intensification

· Green chemistry

· Nanosciences for chemical engineering

·  Chemicals from biomass: biofuels and intermediates

GREENPS provides a platform for scientists and engineers, especially chemists and chemical engineers, but is also open for contributions from all other disciplines involved in the topics mentioned above, such as physics, materials science, or catalysis. Manuscripts are independently reviewed by peers selected by the Editors. Decisions are reached as quickly as possible.

GREENPS aspires to notify authors within six weeks from submission date. When manuscripts are accepted subject to revision, the revised manuscript should be returned within approx. One month. Accepted papers are promptly published online.

GREENPS is an Open Access journal which has Article Processing Charges (APC) –  €  1000. For more information please read Article Processing Charges document available in the supplementary information section on the journal homepage.

EDITORIAL POLICY

Cover letter

The name and complete contact information of the corresponding author should be given.

Reviewers

The authors should provide the title, full name, institution, country and e-mail address of up to three potential reviewers. Reviewers indicated by the authorust be of institutions and nationality different from those of any of the authors. Unpublished material

Submission of a manuscript to GREENPS implies that the work described is not copyrighted, published or submitted elsewhere, except in abstract form.

Anti-plagiarism policy

strongly disapproves of any kind of plagiarism. Each manuscript submitted to GREENPS is subject to an anti-plagiarism check by which the degree of similarity is compared with contents already published. The Editors reserve the right to reject without reviewg manuscripts with plagiarized content. GREENPS also discourages any kind of excessive splitting of research.

Ethical approval

Work involving humans and/or animals must comply with the principles laid down in the WMA Declaration of Helsinki. In the Materials and methods section the manuscript must contain a statement that the study has been approved by the Ethical Committee of the institution where the study was performed and that the study subjects/patients, or their legal guardians, gave informed consent for participation in the study.

Authorship is restricted to those who have made a significant contribution to the conceptual design of the study, the execution of the study, the data analysis or the writing of the manuscript.

The list of authors cannot be changed after the original submission without the permission of the GREENPS Editorial Office.

Conflict of interest

Conflict of interest for a given manuscript exists when a participant in the peer review an publication process – author, reviewer, and editor – has ties to activities that could inappropriately influence his/her judgment, regardless of whether judgment is, in fact, affected.

Financial relationships with industry (for example, employment, consultancies, stock ownership, honoraria, expert testimony), either directly or through immediate family, are usually considered the most important conflicts of interest. However, conflicts can occur for other reasons, such as personal relationships, academic competition, and intellectual passion.
