Document Requirements:

Your cover letter and manuscript text should be in separate document files.

The manuscript text file should contain all of the text elements:

title page, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, acknowledgements, references, tables, figure legends.

Do not embed figures in a document file. Figure files should be submitted separately according to the instructions below.

Figure Requirements:

Figures must be at least 300 dpi after scaling to final size (800-1200 dpi for drawings)

Color figures must be in CMYK format (not RGB screen format)

Please note: Figures may be subject to changes in order to match the style requirements of 'Acta Haematologica'.

File Requirements:

Do not use LZW compression for saving TIFF images

Disable 'Track Changes' in office documents

Video files should be supplied in MPEG, AVI or QuickTime formats. This will make the files playable by any user with either Quicktime or Windows Media Player, two of the most popular media players. When preparing them, please keep in mind that they should be kept to a reasonable size. Files larger than 3 to 4 megabytes will take considerable time for most site visitors to download and, hence, may be a cause of frustration. Therefore, except in unusual circumstances, files larger than 5 megabytes will be deemed too large for posting. For best viewing, limit frame size to approximately 450x375 pixels. Avoid lengthy files.
