Canadian Water Resources Journal / Revue canadienne des ressources hydriques is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research. Please see the journal's Aims & Scope for information about its focus and peer-review policy.
Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English, French.
Canadian Water Resources Journal / Revue canadienne des ressources hydriques accepts the following types of article: Research Papers, Applications, Technical Advances, Review Papers, Commentaries, Comments and Replies, Book Reviews.
Authors must provide an explanation as to why they believe that their work will be of interest and relevance to the water resources community of Canada.
Article Publishing Charge
The standard article publishing charge (APC) for this journal is C$40 (plus GST/HST) per printed page., plus VAT or other local taxes where applicable in your country. There is no submission charge.

Preparing Your Paper
Structure
Your paper should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; figure captions (as a list).
Word Limits
Please include a word count for your paper. There are no word limits for papers in this journal.
Style Guidelines
Please refer to these quick style guidelines when preparing your paper, rather than any published articles or a sample copy.
Any spelling style is acceptable so long as it is consistent within the manuscript.
Please use single quotation marks, except where ‘a quotation is “within” a quotation’.
Please note that long quotations should be indented without quotation marks.
Canadian English or Canadian French spelling and punctuation is expected (metres, kilometres). The Journal avoids the use of the first person – “data were collected” rather than “we collected data”. Footnotes should be used only to give the author’s title, place of employment, city, province and postal code. Footnotes are not to be used in the text.
