Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Frontotemporal Degeneration is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research. Please see the journal's Aims & Scope for information about its focus and peer-review policy.
Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis and Frontotemporal Degeneration accepts the following types of article: Original articles, Reports, Reviews, Case reports and other short reports, Correspondence, Point-counterpoint and IllustrationsPoint-counterpoint items and book reviews will normally be commissioned by the Editor, but suggestions are welcomed..

Preparing Your Paper
All authors submitting to medicine, biomedicine, health sciences, allied and public health journals should conform to the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals, prepared by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
Structure
Your paper should be compiled in the following order: title page; abstract; keywords; main text introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion; acknowledgments; declaration of interest statement; references; appendices (as appropriate); table(s) with caption(s) (on individual pages); figures; figure captions (as a list).
Word Limits
Please include a word count for your paper.
Original articles, reports and reviews should not exceed 3000 words, excluding abstracts and references.
Case reports and other short reports should be approximately 750 words, with no more than 10 references.
Correspondence items should not exceed 750 words with 1 figure or table.
