本杂志是以多元文化为视角、多学科交叉为原则的语言和文化研究领域的国际刊物。其宗旨是通过对语言/传媒/传播/话语及相关文化的研究，促进世界文化的和谐与繁荣 。
杂志发表五类文章：（1）有别于传统研究范式、具有文化创意的话语研究文章；（2）对话语研究进行文化反思的文章(比如揭露西方中心主义)；（3）研究东方文化群体话语或其他被边缘化群体话语的文章；（4）探寻如何构建有助于文化和谐共存话语的研究文章;（5）探索东西方不同学术传统之间相互对话与交融创新的文章。
编委会由包括亚、非、拉、北美、欧洲和大西洋洲专家在内的国际知名学者组成，由国际顶级出版公司Routledge, Taylor&Francis出版发行。欢迎各大学图书馆订阅。
主编热忱希望中华文化圈的国学、文化学、语言学以及外语学界同仁为上述新的学术动态推波助澜，化解目前学术以西方为中心的局面；同时形成既植根中华文化，又放眼世界的多元文化学术范式。

Journal of Multicultural Discourses is an international, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality, original research. Please see the journal's Aims & Scope for information about its focus and peer-review policy.
Please note that this journal only publishes manuscripts in English.
Journal of Multicultural Discourses accepts the following types of article: Original Articles, Book Reviews, Review Articles, Commentaries.
This journal uses ScholarOne Manuscripts (previously Manuscript Central) to peer review manuscript submissions. Please read the guide for ScholarOne authors before making a submission. Complete guidelines for preparing and submitting your manuscript to this journal are provided below.
